02.20.12 Monday
It was the first time I had set foot in the outside worlds since I was discharged from the hospital; it felt so good. It’s been almost two weeks since my surgery and ever since I came home, I slept a lot, was in pain most of the time, and (as oddly as it sounds) itchy the rest of the time. (I was told that means it’s healing but the need to itch was maddening.) The ibuprofen and other drugs helped with the pain THANK GOD FOR DRUGS; DRUGS ARE GOOD ._. b but the doctor gave me nothing for skin irritation. *sigh* but at least the worst is almost over. Other then when I sneeze, vomit, hiccup, or laugh, the pain is minimal and the irritation has passed. *knocks on wood*
As for the actual day out, I thought I was ready but I nearly passed out. I looked like one of those little old ladies you want to help cross the busy street; I was hunched over with one had on my tummy. It was the oddest thing going through XXI (FMMall) with my sister; I took ten steps then hurried to the nearest display table to sit down for five minutes then get up and go to the thing that catches my eye then I’ll look for a different place to sit and continue the process. Luckily no one yelled at me for sitting on the tables *chuckles*.
It’s 12:31am and about time for me to rest for the rest of the week for this weekend’s adventures. Hopefully, I’ll fall asleep soon…my sleep schedule is so messed up; I’ve been sleeping at 2/3/4am again and waking up at noon-ish; it hasn’t been this bad since my visits to Hong Kong.
and on another note:…oh gawd, how awkward have I become with words.
